About the Opportunity

 

Due to expansion of services, Diversified Construction Corporation is looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join their team in Moomba!

 

The role will be FIFO to Moomba with a 3 weeks on / 1 week off roster, with the intention of overseeing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control of Diversified's Cooper Basin operations.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the primary responsibility of this role will be to assist with the development and implementation of the project quality control system, and ensure that all work adheres to the project management plan and developed procedures.

 

The Quality Assurance Coordinator's duties will include:

• Assisting with the development and implementation of the project quality system;
• Ensuring that all work adheres to the project management plan and developed procedures;
• Acting as welding coordinator by managing welding procedures, welder qualifications and NDT personnel to ensure contract and code compliance;
• Carrying out audits and reporting on deficiencies or trends of the quality system; and
  
• Inspecting works as required and review construction of works to specification.

 

The ideal candidate will have Welding Supervisors AS1796 Cert 10 or IIW Welding Specialist certificates, and experience in a similar role. You will be familiar with Quality Plans, ITPs and Quality procedures, and demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills. You will need a current drivers' license and an intermediate level of computer literacy.
